ADI OPERATES MOBILE MEETINGS THAT TEACH NUTRITION EDUCATION FOR THE MOTHERS OF MODERATELY MALNOURISHED CHILDREN. IN 2021 THIS PROGRAM WAS SUCCESSFUL IN TEACHING 40 MOTHERS AND REHABILITATING 50 CHILDREN FROM A STATE OF MALNUTRITION.
ADI PROMOTES TECHNOLOGIES THAT ARE APPROPRIATE TO THE PRODUCTION OF PLANTS AND ANIMALS AMONG SMALLHOLDING FARMERS IN WEST AFRICA. IN 2021, ADI IMPLEMENTED SEVERAL INITIATIVES RELATED TO DEMONSTRATION FARMING. ADI PURCHASED AND DEMONSTRATED THE USE OF DRIP IRRIGATION. ADI CARRIED OUT AN EXCHANGE THAT LED TWO MEMBERS OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE IN MAURITANIA TO VISIT A DEMONSTRATION FARM NEAR MBOUR, SENEGAL. ADI VISITED THE CAMPUS OF TWO AGRICULTURE TRAINING SCHOOLS IN MAURITANIA AND SUPPORTED THE DIRECTION OF THESE TWO SCHOOLS.
ADI OPERATES A CENTER FOR CLEANING TEETH AND TEACHING DENTAL HEALTH. THE CENTER SERVED 681 PERSONS IN 2021. DEMONSTRATING HOW TO BRUSH TEETH IS A TYPICAL LESSON. THE CENTER IS STAFFED BY FIVE WORKERS.
