Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
MEN'S MINISTRY NETWORK IS A GROWING MOVEMENT OF MEN DEDICATED TO INTENTIONALLY FOLLOWING JESUS AND HIS COMMAND TO MULTIPLY SPIRITUALLY MATURE DISCIPLEMAKERS WITHIN LOCAL CHURCHES OF THE GREATER CHATTANOOGA AREA. IN SUPPORT OF PASTORS AND MEN'S LAY LEADERS, MEN'S MINISTRY NETWORK CALLS MEN OUT OF A PASSIVE LIFE IN THE PEWS TO BECOME THE LEADERS GOD INTENDED THEM TO BE IN THEIR FAMILIES, CHURCHES, WORKPLACE AND COMMUNITY. WE BELIEVE THIS KIND OF LEADERSHIP IS THE KEY TO BUILDING UP OUR CHURCHES, OUR CITIES AND OUR NATION. MOST NEGATIVE SOCIETAL ISSUES CAN BE TRACED BACK TO A MAN WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHO GOD DESIGNED HIM TO BE IN KEY AREAS OF HIS LIFE. 1. MEN'S MINISTRY NETWORK CONTINUES TO PARTNER WITH TWR'S EVERY MAN A WARRIOR MINISTRY TO PROMOTE THE USE OF THIS RESOURCE FOR DISCIPLING MEN. AS ONE ASPECT OF THIS, WE PARTICIPATED IN THE EMAW INTERNATIONAL LEADERS CONFERENCE IN APRIL. MMN ALSO HOSTED AN EVENING DINNER CONFERENCE DESIGNED TO CHALLENGE MEN AND CHURCHES FROM AROUND THE REGION TO ENGAGE IN THIS GROWING DISCIPLEMAKING MOVEMENT. 2. MEN'S MINISTRY NETWORK ALSO PROVIDES AN ONLINE TRAINING RESOURCE CALLED (RE)THINK DISCIPLEMAKING. THIS SERIES ENABLES SUBSCRIBERS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND GOD'S OBJECTIVE AND MEANS FOR GROWING THEM SPIRITUALLY TO BECOME MATURE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST. THIS IN TURN ENABLES THEM TO BETTER HELP OTHERS TO GROW THROUGH THE PROCESS OF INTENTIONAL DISCIPLEMAKING. IN FY 2021-22, 27 NEW USERS SUBSCRIBED TO THIS RESOURCE, BRINGING OUR TOTAL TO 229.3. KEY MMN LAY LEADERS, PASTORS, AND LEADERS OF OTHER MEN'S MINISTRIES IN OUR AREA GATHERED TO CONTINUE CULTIVATING A STRONG, GROWING KINGDOM COMMUNITY OF DISCIPLEMAKERS. 4. IN 2022, MMN WAS PRIVILEGED TO HOST THE 7TH ELEMENT 26 WEEK-END MEN'S RETREAT WHICH SERVED TO CONNECT OVER 215 MEN WITH MATURE DISCIPLEMAKERS. 5. SINCE 2019, MMN HAS WORKED WITH THE PASTORAL LEADERSHIP OF A SPECIFIC CHATTANOOGA-AREA CONGREGATION TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE, MULTIPLYING DISCIPLEMAKING PROCESS FOR MEN. BY AUGUST 2022, 41 MEN HAVE COMPLETED THE FIRST STAGE OF THIS PROCESS, 20 HAVE COMPLETED THE SECOND STAGE, AND 10 HAVE COMPLETED THE THIRD STAGE. IN 2022-23, MMN'S BOARD WILL REEVALUATE ITS FUTURE FOCUS AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION.
