TO ORGANIZE AND MANAGE VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES BY RAISING FUNDS AND PROMOTING VOLUNTEERISM IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE OVERALL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS AND EDUCATORS. THE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES PROMOTES VOLUNTEERISM IN THE COMMUNITY AND STIMULATES THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS BETWEEN EDUCATORS, PARENTS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO BENEFIT EACH CHILD WITH THE BEST EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. THE PTO HOSTS THEMED FUNDRAISING EVENTS SUCH AS AN ANNUAL CARNIVAL, BOOK FAIR, SPIRIT NIGHTS, AND MARCH MADNESS. THE PTO ALSO RAISES FUNDS BY SELLING SCHOOL SUPPLIES, SCHOOL MERCHANDISE, GROCERY STORE CARDS, AND SILENT AUCTIONS. PROCEEDS FROM MOST FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES GOES TOWARDS SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT TO BENEFIT THE CLASSROOMS, TEACHERS AND ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. OTHER PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS STUDENT, PARENT AND TEACHER APPRECIATION ACTIVITIES SUCH AS STAFF LUNCHES, GRADUATION CELEBRATIONS, FIELD DAYS AND CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS.
