TMGMA HOLDS CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS FOR ITS MEMBERS WITH TOPICS REGARDING CURRENT TRENDS AND ISSUES IN HEALTHCARE, STRATEGIC HEALTHCARE EVOLUTIONS AND DYNAMICS, AND INFORMATION ON CURRENT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES NECESSARY TO STAY ABREAST OF CHANGES IN THE MEMBERS' RESPECTIVE FIELDS OF HEALTHCARE.


TMGMA PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO ASSIST MEMBERS WITH THE HIGH COST OF CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF MEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT. FUNDS MAY BE USED FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ATTENDING MGMA NATIONAL MEETINGS AND/OR PURSUING ADVANCEMENT IN THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF MEDICAL PRACTICE EXECUTIVES. ADDITIONALLY, TMGMA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE LOCAL CHAPTERS TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN THE COST OF ATTENDING STATE MEETINGS.
