IT WORKS TO EXPAND ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION AND FURTHER REGIONAL WORKFORCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BY RAISING FUNDS TO PROVIDE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, ENHANCE COLLEGE PROGRAMS, ADVOCATE THE WELFARE OF, AND ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT THE COLLEGE.

THE NASHVILLE STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION HELPS MAKE THE DREAM OF ATTENDING AND GRADUATING COLLEGE A REALITY. WE BRIDGE FINANCIAL GAPS AND SATISFY THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF NASHVILLE STATE STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT MET THROUGH STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDING. DURING 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR, NSCC FOUNDATION PROVIDED 200621 THROUGH OUR BEYOND FINANCIAL AIDE PROGRAM THAT PROVIDED ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDCARE, TEXTBOOKS, TRANSPORTATION, EMERGENCIES, AND A FOOD PANTRY. NASHVILLE STATE STUDENTS WERE ALSO AWARDED 70787 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY. IN ADDITION TO BEYOND FINANCIAL AID PROGRAMS AND SCHOLARSHIPS, NASHVILLE STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS BENEFITTING STUDENTS ATTENDING NASHVILLE STATE. 607461 WAS SPENT THROUGH THE NASHVILLE GRAD PROGRAM, 11773 THROUGH NASHVILLE FLEX PROGRAM, 33656 THROUGH EARLY COLLEGE AT WHITES CREEK HIGH SCHOOL, 27520 THROUGH THE PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN PROGRAM, AND 9216 THROUGH ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS.
