IT IS THE MISSION OF THE FALL BRANCH FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PROTECT THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE IN OUR COMMUNITY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY. WE ARE COMMITTED TO WORKING WITH THE NEIGHBORING DEPARTMENTS AND OTHER AGENCIES TO ASSIST THEM AND ASK THEM TO ASSIST US IN ACCOMPLISHING OUR GOAL TO PROTECT AND SERVE.

2022 WAS A BUSY YEAR FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, RESPONDING TO 423 CALLS. THESE CONSISTED OF 299 MEDICAL RELATED CALLS, 38 STRUCTURE FIRES, 17 BRUSH FIRES, 7VEHICLE FIRES, 16 FIRE ALARMS/POWER POLE INCIDENTS/INVESTIGATIONS AND 43 CALLS ASSISTING OTHER AGENCIES. OTHER PROGRAMS THAT CONTINUED TO BE IMPLEMENTED DURING THE YEAR INCLUDED, THE FREE SMOKE DECTECTOR PROGRAM, THE ANNUAL FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN AREA SCHOOLS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ALSO CONTINUED TO HOST VARIOUS FUNDRAISERS TO PAY FOR THE OPERATING COSTS OF THE FIRE STATION. THESE WERE APPLE BUTTER SALES, AND AN AUCTION.
