BELMONT UNIVERSITY IS A PRIVATE, COEDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOCUSED ON UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE EDUCATION. IT PROVIDES AN ACADEMICALLY CHALLENGING EDUCATION AND STRIVES TO BE A LEADER AMONG TEACHING UNIVERSITIES BRINGING TOGETHER THE BEST OF LIBERAL ARTS AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN A CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OF LEARNING AND SERVICE.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, INSTRUCTION AND STUDENT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO MORE THAN 8,900 STUDENTS, OFFERING MORE THAN 139 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS THROUGH ITS FOURTEEN COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS, INCLUDING THE MIKE CURB COLLEGE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND MUSIC BUSINESS, COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, AND THE COLLEGE OF LAW. BELMONT OFFERS INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS IN FIFTEEN DIFFERENT SPORTS, ALL COMPETING IN THE OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE. BELMONT STUDENT ATHLETES HAVE COMPILED IMPRESSIVE RECORDS, BOTH ON AND OFF THE PLAYING COURT AND FIELD. THE BELMONT MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM HAS MADE APPEARANCES IN SEVEN OUT OF THE PAST FOURTEEN NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENTS, AND QUALIFIED IN 2020 PRIOR TO ITS CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19. THE MEN'S BASEBALL TEAM HAS MADE APPEARANCES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE NCAA TOURNAMENT IN TWO OF THE PAST EIGHT YEARS. STUDENT ACTIVITIES ROUND OUT THE COLLEGIATE EXPERIENCE, WITH A FOCUS ON CAMPUS LIFE AND COMMUNITY, STUDENT HEALTH AND WELFARE, AND STUDENT ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT. THERE ARE CURRENTLY MORE THAN 140 CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS.
