VFW POST 1848 PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO VETERANS AND FAMILIES DAILY. ALL VETERANS REUNION IS HELD ANNUALLY TO REUNITE VETERANS FROM SEVERAL FOREIGN WARS AND TOURS. A MEMORIAL WAS CREATED IN JACKSON FOR WHICH THE POST WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THEDESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE SITE. ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICE IS HELD AT THE SITE TO HONOR VETERANS. THE POST DONATES TO DISPLACED VETS.
