STATE FFA CONVENTION PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FRO STUDENTS TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE CONVENTION INCLUDES A NUMBER OF CAREER AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT EVENTS, GENERAL SESSIONS, DELEGATE BUSINESS SESSIONS, AWARDS, A CAREER EXPO, AND OTHER EVENTS INTENDED TO MOTIVATE AND RECOGNIZE MEMBERS.


KENTUCKY FFA ADDITIONALLY HOSTED COMPETITIVE EVENTS, LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES, AND PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS.


THE AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY IS PROMOTED THROUGH KENTUCKY FFA'S INVOLVEMENT IN THE KENTUCKY STATE FAIR.


STATE OFFICER EXPENSES INCLUDE FUNDS SPENT TO TRAIN AND SUPPORT THE TWELVE STATE FFA OFFICERS. THE OFFICERS REPRESENT OVER 21,000 MEMBERS ACROSS KENTUCKY. THEY PROVIDE LEADERSHIP FOR THE STATE ORGANIZATION AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO LOCAL CHAPTERS AND MEMBERS. EXPENSES INCLUDE MEALS, LODGING, TRANSPORTATION, ETC. FOR TRAININGS AS WELL AS MILEAGE AND OTHER EXPENSES INCURRED BY OFFICERS WHILE TRAVELING ACROSS THE STATE.
