TO PROVIDE SACRED SPACES TO STRENGTHEN THE MINDS AND BODIES OF QTPIS - QUEER AND TRANS PACIFIC ISLANDERS - THROUGH COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, COMMUNITY CARE, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND CULTRUAL STEWARDSHIP.

SEX WORKERS EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE - SWEI LAUNCHED THE FIRST PHASE OF THE SHALIMAR SEX WORKER TOOL KIT HONORING THE LIFE OF OUR BELOVED SISTER, SHALIMAR SEIULI. THE TOOLKIT PROVIDES SEX WORKERS WITH TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO KEEP THEMSELVES AND OTHERS SAFE. SWEI PARTNERED WITH LAVENDER RIGHTS PROJECT, LEGAL VOICE AND SWEDISH HOSPITAL TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH AMENDING LEGAL DOCUMENTS. IN 2021, WE AIDED 60 TRANS FOLKS AND PROVIDED OVER 10,000 IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR LEGAL DOCUMENT FEES. STREET OUTREACH HAS BEEN A BIG MOVEMENT FOR UTOPIA AS WE WORK TO IDENTIFY THE NEEDS AND HARM THATS BEING DONE TO SEX WORKERS SO WE CAN BETTER STRATEGIZE A SUPPORT SYSTEM THAT WORKS FOR SEX WORKERS. LAST YEAR WE WERE ABLE TO FOSTER THESE RELATIONSHIPS AND SUPPORT 387 SEX WORKERS THROUGH OUTREACH EFFORTS. WE ALSO WORKED ON BUILDING WAYS THAT ALLIES CAN SUPPORT OUR OUTREACH EFFORTS THROUGH OUR SUPPORT A SEX WORKER REGISTRY. THIS REGISTRY ALLOWS FOLKS TO DONATE TO SEX WORKER COMMUNITY IDENTIFIED NEEDS.
FOFO COMMUNITY CARE - IN 2021 FOFO PROVIDED ONGOING CARE WORK TO A TOTAL OF 61 ACTIVE ENROLLED COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO WERE SEEKING DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE INCLUDING HOUSING SUPPORT, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, AMENDMENT OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS, FOOD ASSISTANCE AND CASE ENROLLMENT. WE HOSTED 7 VACCINE CLINICS, VACCINATED 485 COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND DISTRIBUTED PPE THAT INCLUDED OVER 2,018 HAND SANITIZERS, 1,544 FACE MASKS, AND 20 SANITATION WIPES. OUR COMMUNITY GIVING PROJECT IN NOVEMBER OF 2021 WAS ABLE TO GIVE OUT 8,000 POUNDS OF FOOD
THE PACIFIC ISLANDER HEALTH BOARD OF WA - THE PACIFIC ISLANDER HEALTH BOARD SEEKS TO CULTIVATE RESILIENCE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES TO ACHIEVE HEALTH EQUITY THROUGH CULTURALLY SAFE AND COMMUNITY DRIVEN SOLUTIONS, TRADITIONS, AND ADVOCACY.
