PROVIDING FORMAL INSTRUCTION TO ENROLLED STUDENTS: THIS SCHOOL YEAR BROUGHT A SMALL INCREASE IN TOTAL ENROLLMENT. NCA SUCCESSFULLY BROUGHT STUDENTS BACK INTO THE CLASSROOM, AFTER SOME TIME DOING REMOTE LEARNING. STUDENTS THRIVE AND LEARN MUCH BETTER IN THE CLASSROOM. THE SCHOOL STAKEHOLDERS WERE PLEASED WITH THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT THE TEACHERS WORKED TIRELESSLY TO PROVIDE.
PROVIDING STUDENT SUPPORT: NEUSE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY PROVIDES A CAFETERIA FOR STUDENTS TO PURCHASE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ITEMS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. THE SCHOOL ALSO PROVIDES AN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE PARENTS WHO WORK AND CANNOT PICK UP THEIR CHILD AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY.
PROVIDING STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS: NEUSE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO ENRICH FORMAL INSTRUCTION BY PARTICIPATING IN THE FINE ARTS AND IN ATHLETICS. THESE TWO PROGRAMS COMPETE LOCALLY AND STATE WIDE. THIS YEAR, DUE THE COVID PANDEMIC, THESE PROGRAMS WERE FORCED BY OUR LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO CEASE ACTIVITIES, TEMPORARILY.
