CAREERCATCHERS' MISSION IS TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALIZED EMPLOYMENT AND JOB SKILLS COUNSELING: TO ENSURE STABLE EMPLOYMENT AND UPWARD MOBILITY; TO IDENTIFY AND ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN WORK SKILLS AND TRAINING PROGRAMS; TO ENHANCE SELF-ESTEEM AND FOSTER EMPOWERMENT.

PROVIDED CAREER COACHING AND TRAINING SERVICES TO REFERRALS FROM THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAM. INDIVIDUALS SERVED UNDER THIS PROGRAM RECEIVE FULL CAREER COACHING SERVICES, ACCESS TO ALL OF OUR WORKSHOPS, ACCESS TO OUR TRAINING CLASSES, AND POST-EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT. A TOTAL OF 207 CLIENTS WERE SERVED UNDER THIS PROGRAM, 58% STARTED JOBS IN 2021 WITH AN ANNUAL AGGREGATE VALUE OF $3,000,000 FROM THE START OF THE PROGRAM IN MID-FEBRUARY 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021.
SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO MONTGOMERY COUNTY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS/VICTIMS THROUGH A PROGRAM FUNDED BY MONTGOMERY COUNTY GOVERNMENT. THE CONTRACT MONITOR IS THE DIRECTOR OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER.
WE PROVIDE CAREER COACHING AND TRAINING SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS AND FORMER RESIDENTS OF STEPPING STONES SHELTER AND THE DWELLING PLACE, A SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM.
