SUPPORT4RECOVERY IS A GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT MADE UP OF INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN RECOVERY FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS. OUR MISSION IS TO ASSESS THE NEEDS OF THE RECOVERING COMMUNITY. WITH OUR FINDINGS WE DEVELOP ACTION PLANS THAT SUPPORT, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER OUR COMMUNITY TO ADVOCATE FOR AND BRING ABOUT CHANGES THAT ARE BARRIERS TO SUCCESSFUL LONG TERM RECOVERY. OUR FOCUS IS ON CELEBRATING THE RECOVERY MOVEMENT AND BREAKING DOWN THE STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION OF THOSE IN RECOVERY. BY DOING SO WE CREATE A UNIFIED VOICE TO BRING ABOUT POSITIVE CHANGE.
