LOUISVILLE FENCING CENTER, INC. IS DEDICATED TO THE TEACHING,COACHING, AND DEVELOPMENT OF ATHLETES IN THE OLYMPIC SPORT OF FENCING AND PROMOTION OF GENERAL PUBLICS AWARENESS OF A SUPPORT FOR THIS SPORT. IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE LFC MAINTAINS A MODERN TRAINING FACILITY EMPLOYING A FENCING COACH AVAILABLE TO GIVE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP LESSONS, AND TRAVELS WITH LFC FENCERS COMPETING IN NATIONAL COMPETITIONS. MEMBERSHIP IN LFC VARIED DURING THE YEAR, BUT APPROXIMATELY 40 TO 50 INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES PARTICIPATED IN PROGRAMS DURING THE YEAR. TO MEET PROGRAM EXPENSES, LFC CHARGES MEMBERS DUES, IN EXCHANGE LFCS MEMBERS HAVE ACCESS TO AND THE USE OF THE LFCS TRAINING FACILITY. ALSO, LFC MAKES INCIDENTAL SALES OF VARIOUS ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY (SUCH AS T-SHIRTS) WHICH BARE LOGOS TO PROMOTE LFC AND/OR THE SPORT OF FENCING, AS WELL AS FOSTER A TEAM SPIRIT AMONG LFCS MEMBERS. IN ADDITION,LFC HAS A WHEEL CHAIR FENCING PROGRAM SUPPORTED IN PART BY ITS REVENUES
