ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM - PROVIDES CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION TOWARDS ACHIEVEMENT OF A JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN'S LICENSE. ENROLLMENT FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR WAS 293 STUDENTS.
MEMBER EDUCATION SERVICES AND SAFETY PROGRAM - PROVIDES SEMINARS / FORUMS FOR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES IN ORDER TO FULFILL CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OF STATE AND LOCAL LICENSING BOARDS. APPROXIMATELY 150 CREDIT HOURS WERE EARNED DURING THE YEAR. THE SAFETY PROGRAM PROVIDES CONSULTING AND ON-SITE INSPECTIONS FOR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS' WORKPLACES AND JOB SITES FOR OSHA COMPLIANCE. ALSO PROVIDES TRAINING IN FIRST AID AND CPR. MORE THAN 85 INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS IN GENERAL SAFETY TRAINING WERE GIVEN AND OVER 118 JOB SITE INSPECTIONS WERE MADE.
