30 LOCAL AND NATIONAL PROGRAMS WERE OFFERED IN 2020 DEALING WITH HEALTH, MEDIA LITERACY, ECONOMIC LITERACY, MATHEMATICS, AND MORE. GIRLS INC PROGRAMMING TAKES PLACE YEAR ROUND WITH AN AFTERSCHOOL ACADEMY MONDAY- FRIDAY AND A FULL DAY SUMMER ACADEMY PRIMARILY UTILIZING RESEARCH BASED AND DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE NATIONAL GIRLS INC CIRRICULA AND IS ALTERNATELY SUPPORTED BY LOCALLY DEVELOPED INITIATIVES AND FIELD TRIPS. THE VISION OF PROGRAMMING AND OUTCOMES IS A WORLD WHERE EVERY GIRL VALUES HER WHOLE SELF AND HER INHERENT STRENGTHS, HAS OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP HER POTENTIAL, BREAK PAST SERIOUS OBSTACLES AND LEADS A HEALTHY, EDUCATED SUCCESSFUL LIFE.
CONDUCT AND PROVIDE A NUTRITION PROGRAM TO GIRLS IN GRADES 1 - 12 TO ENABLE GIRLS TO LEAD HEALTHY AND PHYSICALLY ACTIVE LIVES.
