ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS FOR HILLEL AT FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY INCLUDE STUDENT FUNCTIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. A WEBSITE IS MAINTAINED FOR STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND AN E-NEWSLETTER IS PRODUCED ON A REGULAR BASIS WITH OVER 1,200 SUBSCRIBERS. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE REGULARLY HELD RELIGIOUS SERVICES, CONFERENCES ON STUDENT LIFE AND RELATED ISSUES, MAINTENANCE OF LIBRARY MATERIALS AND COMPUTER RESOURCE STATIONS AS WELL AS MANY OTHER FUNCTIONS/ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A FACILITY AS A GATHERING PLACE FOR STUDENTS AND TO HOLD MANY ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATES PARTICIPATION IN TAGLIT, HOSTS A PASSOVER SEDER MEAL, HOLDS A WORSHIP SERVICE FOR THE FIRST NIGHT OF ROSH HASHANA, HOLDS LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOPS, ADVISES OTHER RELATED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS ON CAMPUS, AND OFFERS PAID AND NON-PAID INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS TO GAIN SKILLS WHILE HELPING THE ORGANIZATION MEET ITS MISSION.
