ZOO MIAMI FOUNDATION SUPPORTS ZOO MIAMI THROUGH VISITOR EDUCATION ON CONSERVATION, MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMMING, VOLUNTEER SERVICE, MARKETING EXPERTISE AND MONETARY CONTRIBUTION. THROUGH OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, ZOO MIAMI FOUNDATION PROUDLY SERVED OVER 598,000 CHILDREN AND FAMILIES DURING FY 2021. ZOO MIAMI FOUNDATION PROVIDED HANDS ON CLASSROOM PROGRAMS, OPERATION OF A "ANIMAL FUN FACTORY" TEACHING ZOO VISITORS ABOUT ANIMAL ENRICHMENT, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS, ZOO CAMPS DURING THE SPRING, SUMMER AND WINTER AS WELL AS MINI-CAMPS. ZOO MIAMI FOUNDATION PROVIDED AND ALLOCATED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ZOO MIAMI OF ALMOST $700,000 AS WELL AS OVER 26,000 HOURS OF SERVICE. THROUGH OUR MARKETING, ADVERTISING, SOCIAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAMS, WE MADE HISTORY BY HELPING BRING MORE THAN 1 MILLION VISITORS TO ZOO MIAMI AND PROMOTING ZOO MIAMI THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH FLORIDA COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.
