ANNUALLY, MORE THAN 250,000 KINDERGARTENS THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE STUDENTS STATEWIDE PARTICIPATE IN SCIENCE FAIR EVENTS LEADING TO REGIONAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR (RSEF) PARTICIPATION. EVENTS USUALLY ARE HELD IN JANUARY. FOR 2020 THE EVENTS WERE NOT HELD BE WILL CONTINUE IN 2021. THERE ARE 37 GEOGRAPHICALLY DELIMITED REGIONS INCORPORATING 67 FLORIDA COUNTIES. MORE THAN 20,000 STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE EXHIBIT AT RSEF USUALLY MEET DURING FEBRUARY AND MARCH.FOR 2020 THE EVENTS WERE NOT HELD BUT THE EVENTS WILL BE CONTINUED IN 2021.USUALLY IN MAY OF EACH YEAR, FLORIDA NINTH THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE STUDENTS COMPLETE ACROSS THE NATION AND AROUND THE WORLD. ADULTS ALSO ATTEND AS REGIONAL FAIR DIRECTORS, JUDGES AND PARENTS. THERE IS A REPRESENTATIVEFROM FLORIDA ON THE ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IS A MEMBER OF THE BEST PRACTICES COMMITTEE FOR ISEF
