THE ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO THE AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL ADVANTAGES THAT ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE SHOWCASES THAT FEATURE PARTICIPATING YOUTH FROM OUR COMMUNITY.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA COMMUNITY WITH WITH EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE SHOWCASES WHICH HIGHLIGHT AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL ADVANTAGES. A MINIMUM OF 25,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS, PREMIUMS, AND AWARDS ARE DISTRIBUTED ANNUALLY TO THE YOUTH THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE FAIR. THE ORGANIZATION SHOWCASES EXHIBITS FROM MANY OF THE SCHOOLS, 4-H, AS WELL AS PROMOTION OF LOCAL ARTIST IN THE COMMUNITY. SUPPORT OF OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IS ALSO PROVIDED THROUGH USE OF FACILITIES AND ORGANIZATION OF EVENTS WHICH PROMOTE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND HORICULTURAL EDUCATION. THE ASSOCIATION IS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN EVENTS TO BENEFIT A VARIETY OF YOUTH AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS.
