THE ORGANIZATION IS THE STATE AFFILIATE FOR THE NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION PROSTART PROGRAM WITH STATEWIDE HIGH SCHOOLS. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS CURRENTLY USING THE HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT PROGRAM CURRICULUM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS USING THE PROSTART CURRICULUM WHICH ENCOMPASSES CULINARY TECHNIQUES AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS. THERE ORGANIZATION HOLDS A STATE COMPETITION AND FUNDS THE WINNING TEAM'S TRAVEL AND EXPENSES TO COMPETE AT THE NATIONAL COMPETITION.
THE NEW HAMPSHIRE HOSPITALITY EMPLOYEE RELIED FUND (NHHERF) WAS LAUNCHED BY THE NEW HAMPSHIRE LODGING & RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION (NHLRA) AND THE NEW HAMPSHIRE LODGING & RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION EDUCATION FOUNDATION (NHLRAEF) TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEES OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY WHO HAVE BEEN IMPACTED BY COVID-19 BY PROVIDING DIRECT GRANTS TO AFFECTED EMPLOYEES.
