THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. SUCH PURPOSES SHALL INCLUDE GRANTING OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PEOPLE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED OR THOSE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY AND TO FACILITATE AND SUPPORT ADDITIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES AS NEEDED BY THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.

THE ORGANIZATION IS THE STATE AFFILIATE FOR THE NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION PROSTART PROGRAM WITH STATEWIDE HIGH SCHOOLS. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS CURRENTLY USING THE HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT PROGRAM CURRICULUM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS USING THE PROSTART CURRICULUM WHICH ENCOMPASSES CULINARY TECHNIQUES AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS. THERE ORGANIZATION HOLDS A STATE COMPETITION AND FUNDS THE WINNING TEAM'S TRAVEL AND EXPENSES TO COMPETE AT THE NATIONAL COMPETITION.


WOMEN IN HOSPITALITY & TOURISM WAS DESIGNED TO CELEBRATE WOMEN IN THE HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM INDUSTRY,PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH AND DEVELOP PEER RELATIONSHIPS, AND TO ADDRESS TOP-OF MINDTOPICS WITH A GROUP OF INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS.


THE NEW HAMPSHIRE HOSPITALITY EMPLOYEE RELIED FUND (NHHERF) WAS LAUNCHED BY THE NEW HAMPSHIRE LODGING & RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION (NHLRA) AND THE NEW HAMPSHIRE LODGING & RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION EDUCATION FOUNDATION (NHLRAEF) TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEES OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY WHO HAVE BEEN IMPACTED BY COVID-19 BY PROVIDING DIRECT GRANTS TO AFFECTED EMPLOYEES.
