THE RITA CHAMPIONSHIPS IS A WOMENS TENNIS EVENT HELD AT CLUB CONTINENTAL. PROCEEDS WENT TO BAPTIST ME4DICAL CENTER CLAY AND ESTABLISHED ONE FULLY FUNDED ENDOWMENT. THE ANNUAL PROCEEDS FROM THE ENDOWMENT WILL PAY FOR MAMMOGRAMS FOR THE UNDER INSURED.
THE MIXEDRITA MIXED DOUBLES TENNIS EVENT WAS HELD AT SAWGRASS COUNTRY CLUB. THE PROCEEDS WERE SPLIT BETWEEN MAYO CLINIC AND BAPTIST MD ANDERSON. DR. AL COPLAND OF MAYO RECEIVED 15,000. 30,00 WAS THE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE 50,000 COMMITMENT TO THE BAPTIST BUDDY BUS MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT. THE BALANCE WENT INTO SEVERAL ENDOWMENTS AT BAPTIST MD ANDERSON WITH PROCEEDS DESIGNATED TO THE LIFE WELLNESS CANTER.
THE SENOIRITAS AT SAWGRASS WOMENS TENNIS EVENT CONTINUES TO BE OUR LARGEST. PROCEEDS WERE SPLIT BETWEEN TWO BAPTIST HOSPITALS AND MAYO CLINIC. DR COPLANDS AT MAYO RECEIVED 50,000 FOR HIS CANCER LAB. THE BALANCE WAS PLACED INTO EXSISTING ENDOWMENTS BOTH AT MAYO AND BAPTIST. TWO FULL FUNDED ENDOWMENTS WERE CREATED AND EIGHT NEW ONES ESTABLISHED.
