TVW HELPS FINANCIALLY INSECURE INDIVIDUALS MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS BY PRDNG FOOD, PERSONAL ITEMS, REQOURCES AND HOPE. TVW DISTRIBUTS MILLIONS OF POUNDS OF FOOD EVERY YEAR FREE OF CHARGE TO LOCAL PANTRIES,SOUP KTCHNS, ETC.

IN 2019 THE VOLUNTEER WAY DISTRIBUTED OVER 5 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD AT NO COST TO AUR PARTNERING FOOD PANTRIES AND CONSUMERS. THE TOTAL FAMILIES SERVED WAS OVER 22,000 EACH MONTH. WE ALSO DISTRIBUTED USDA COMMODITIES TO 30 NON-PROFIT CHARITIES THROUGHOUT ALL OF PASCO AND HERNANDO COUNTIES. OUR SOUP KITCHEN SERVER OVER 7,000 MEALS EACH MONTH AND OUR MOBILE FOOD PANTRY ASSISTED AN AVERAGE OF 800 FAMILIES THAT ARE LOCATED IN ISOLATED FOOD DESERT AREAS IN PASCO COUNTY. OUR BROWN BAG PROGRAM HAS HOW GROWN TO OVER 210 LOW-INCOME HOMEBOUND ELDERLY THAT GET A DELIVERY BOX OF GROCERIES AND PERSONAL ITEMS MONTHLY. WE ARE AN ACCESS SITE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. ALL OF OUR SERVICES ARE FREE OF ANY FEES TO OUR CONSUMERS AND PERTNERING NON-PROFITS.
