LEMUR CONSERVATION HABITAT. AT THE HEART OF LCF'S EFFORTS IS THE AZA CERTIFIED MYAKKA CITY, FL LEMUR RESERVE (MCLR). THE 130 ACRE CAMPUS IS COMPRISED OF TWO LARGE FORESTED ENCLOSURES, TWO LEMUR SHELTERS, A THRIVING LEMUR COLONY, GUEST HOUSES FOR SCIENTISTS AND RESEARCHERS, STAFF HOUSING AND THE MIANATRA CENTER FOR LEMUR STUDIES (INCLUDING THE BLADSTROM LIBRARY). LCF ALSO SUPPORTS CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN MADAGASCAR.


EDUCATION PROGRAMS. LCF HOSTS A NUMBER OF CONSERVATION EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES.


LIBRARY. LCF HAS BOTH PHYSICAL AND ELECTRONIC LEMUR-CENTRIC LIBRARIES TO ASSIST STUDENTS, RESEARCHERS AND GUESTS IN LEARNING ABOUT LEMURS AND THEIR ISLAND HABITAT IN MADAGASCAR.
