THE NUMBER OF FERAL ANIMALS RETRIEVED FOR REHABILITATION WAS 1,440 IN 2022, AND 1,711 IN 2021. OF THOSE ANIMALS THE NUMBER THAT WERE SUCCESSFULLY REHABILITATED AND RELEASED TO THE WILD WERE 634 IN 2022, AND 626 IN 2021. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS ALSO CONDUCTED PUBLIC OUTREACH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS SERVED STUDENTS IN CLASSROOM SETTINGS, COMMUNITY AND CIVIC CLUB MEMBERS, AND THOUSANDS OF LOCAL RESIDENTS AND TOURISTS ACROSS A FIVE COUNTY AREA OF NORTHWEST FLORIDA.
