FLORIDA HOME PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOW TO MODERATE-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS PRIMARY THROUGH THE USDA MUTUAL SELF-HELP HOUSING PROGRAM AND THE FEDERAL HOME PROGRAM.

SELF-HELP HOUSING: FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 2023, FLORIDA HOME PARTNERSHIP PROVIDED FINANCIAL AND CREDIT COUNSELING, LOAN APPLICATION IN-TAKE AND LOAN PROCESSING SERVICES TO ASSIST USDA MUTUAL SELF-HELP HOUSING CLIENTS TO OBTAIN MORTGAGE FINANCING AND DOWN-PAYMENT ASSISTANCE TO PARTICIAPATE IN THE USDA MUTUAL SELF-HELP HOUSING PROGRAM AND ASSISTED 31 FAMILIES TO ACQUIRE BUILDING LOTS AND GUIDE THE FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THEIR OWN HOMES THROUGH THE USDA MUTUAL SELF-HELP HOUSING PROGRAM.


THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED REVENUES FROM LOT SALES AND ACCOUNTED FOR THE COST OF GOODS SOLD FOR DEVELOPED PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE USDA SELF-HELP PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND INCURRED GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES.

ASSIST POTENTIAL HOMEBUYERS WITH OBTAINING MORTGAGE FINANCING AND DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE FROM GOVERNMENTAL FUNDING PROGRAMS. ONE COMPLETED HOME WAS SOLD TO INCOME-ELIGIBLE HOMEBUYERS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
