VISIT MOUNT DORA REPRESENTS APPROXIMATELY 90+ BUSINESSES LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL DOWNTOWN AREA. THE ASSOCIATIONS BOARD OF DIRECTORS REPRESENTS THE GROUP IN ITS INITIATIVES, WHICH ARE PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON MARKETING THE TOWN THROUGH ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL EVENTS AND HOLDS MEETINGS REGULARLY AND AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED. THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP ALSO MEETS REGULARLY AND AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED. THE ORGANIZATION HAS DEVELOPED AN ANNUAL MARKETING PLAN, WHICH MEASURES, ON A QUARTERLY BASIS, ITS EFFECTIVENESS AND MARKETS THE TOWN UTILIZING A BROAD RANGE OF MEDIA INCLUDING PRINT, RADIO, TV AND THE INTERNET. ADDITIONALLY, VISIT MOUNT DORA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FACILITATING SOME OF THE TOWNS MAJOR EVENTS, INCLUDING THE ANNUAL SEAFOOD FESTIVAL, ANNUAL SPRING ANTIQUES, AND OCTOBERS NATIONALLY RANKED CRAFT FAIR.
