JUPITER MEDICAL CENTER PAVILION, INC. (THE PAVILION) WAS A 90-BED REHAB SKILLED NURSING FACILITY THAT OFFERED REHABILITATION SERVICES, LONG-TERM CARE, AND DEMENTIA CARE. THE PAVILION PROVIDED A CONTINUUM OF CARE FOR SUB-ACUTE CARE PATIENTS NEEDING SHORT-TERM REHABILITATION AND THERAPY SERVICES AFTER LEAVING THE HOSPITAL, AS WELL AS HOME-LIKE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR LONG TERM CARE RESIDENTS WHO MAY STAY AT THE PAVILION FOR A WEEK OR MAKE THE FACILITY THEIR HOME, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. THE PAVILION'S GOAL WAS TO MEET THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF EVERY RESIDENT INCLUDING ACHIEVING THEIR HIGHEST POSSIBLE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING, AND WHENEVER POSSIBLE, TO REHABILITATE AND RETURN THEM TO INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLES IN THEIR OWN HOME. IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2021, THE PAVILION SERVED 168 PATIENTS OVER 2,120 PATIENT DAYS.
