CONTINUING EDUCATION-FAPSC HOST TWO CONFERENCES A YEAR AND ADDITIONAL WORKSHOPS, WHICH PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION SERVICES TO MORE THAN 500 ADMINISTRATORS AND FACULTY MEMBERS. ABOUT 100 EDUCATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDERS WERE BROUGHT TOGETHER WITH THOSE SCHOOL PERSONNEL.


LEADRESHIP/ADVOCACY: FAPSC REPRESENTS THEIR EDUCATIONAL SECTOR BEFORE THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE, OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR, COMMISSION FOR INDEPENDENT EDUCATION, FLORIDA BOARD OF NURSING, WORKFORCE FLORIDA, FLORIDA HIGHER EDUCATION COORDINATING COUNCIL, AND FLORIDA WORKFORCE SYSTEM.


SUPPORT- AT REGULAR BOARD MEETINGS, COMMITTEE MEETINGS, REGIONAL ACTIVITIES, CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES AND LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION ACTIVITIES, MEMBERS ARE PROVIDED NETWORKING OPORTUNITIES. MENTORING ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS.
