THE ASSOCIATION SERVES AS AN INTERNATIONAL CLEARINGHOUSE TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT ALL KINDS OF STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL BIRTH DEFECTS AS WELL AS SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND RESOURCES TO ASSIST FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHILDREN WITH THESE CONDITIONS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SPONSORS THE NATIONAL BIRTH DEFECTS REGISTRY, A RESEARCH AND BIRTH DEFECTS PREVENTION PROJECT.
