DONATED GOODS AND RETAIL PROGRAM SERVICES - GOODWILL INDUSTRIES UTILIZES ITS RESALE STRATEGIES TO PROVIDE ON THE JOB TRAINING TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND OTHER BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. GOODWILL ACCEPTS CLOTHING AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD DONATED GOODS FROM THE PUBLIC AND SELLS THESE DONATIONS IN GOODWILL COMMUNITY BASED STORES. REVENUE FROM THE SALE OF THESE GOODS GOES DIRECTLY TOWARD SUPPORTING AND GROWING CRITICAL COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: PROVIDED VARIOUS MISSION RELATED SERVICES TO OVER 3,832 PEOPLE, PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO MORE THAN 750 INDIVIDUALS, PROVIDED INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF WALK-INS AT 34 SERVICE LOCATIONS, DIVERTED OVER 57.4 MILLION POUNDS OF MATERIAL DIVERTED FROM LANDFILLS THROUGH SALES AND SALVAGE, SERVED 710 INDIVIUDALS THROUGH THE GOODPARTNER COACH PROGRAM, HAD 113 INDIVIDUALS GRADUATE FROM THE ROLE MODEL WORKER PROGRAM AND SERVED 30 INDIVIDUALS IN THE HOMEBUYERS CLUB PROGRAM.
