THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS DIRECTED AT IMMEDIATE RELIEF FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN CRISIS, AS WELL AS ONGOING SUPPORT, COUNSELING, EDUCATIONAL REFERRAL AND ADVOCACY. COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE INCLUDES PROVIDING ONE WARM MEAL A DAY TO NEEDY INDIVIDUALS WHICH APPROXIMATES 36,000 MEALS BEING SERVED ANNUALLY. THE ASSISTANCE ALSO INCLUDES PROVIDING MEDICAL, UTILITIES, RENT, FOOD AND TRANSPORTATION TO APPROXIMATELY 19,000 INDIVIDUALS.
