ACHIEVEMENT CENTERS SERVES HUNDREDS OF LOCAL CHILDREN AND FAMILIES EACH YEAR FROM THREE LOCATIONS IN DELRAY BEACH. EMPLOYING A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM MODEL, CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO RESOURCE IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT AND FAMILIES SERVE AS THE FOUNDATION OF THEIR GROWTH. OUR CORE PROGRAMS (EARLY LEARNING, AFTERSCHOOL, SUMMER AND TEENS) OFFER A CONTINUUM OF AFFORDABLE CARE FOR CHILDREN FROM 1 YEAR THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. ACHIEVEMENT CENTERS FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES (ACCF) WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1969 TO PROVIDE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SERVICES TO CHILDREN OF LOW-INCOME WORKING FAMILIES IN THE DELRAY BEACH, FL AREA. ACCF HAS GROWN FROM TWO TEACHERS SERVING 20 CHILDREN TO MORE THAN 100 PROFESSIONAL STAFF PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND CRITICAL FAMILY SERVICES TO 700 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES EACH YEAR. OUR EARLY LEARNING PROGRAMS ARE ACCREDITED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND IN 2022 WE RECEIVED A FIVE-YEAR REACCREDITATION SCORING 92%. PALM BEACH COUNTY'S PROGRAM QUALITY ASSESSMENT TOOL ADMINISTERED BY PRIME TIME HAS PREVIOUSLY RANKED OUR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS WITHIN THE HIGHEST TIER FOR QUALITY. ACHIEVEMENT CENTERS FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES SERVED OVER 131,000 MEALS AND SNACKS TO CHILDREN WHILE PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAMS. CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES WERE PROVIDED WERE PROVIDED TO 83 FAMILIES; 30 FAMILY WORKSHOPS WERE HELD, AND THERE WERE 300 INSTANCES OF PARENTS ENGAGING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR CHILD IN WAYS THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT THE ACHIEVEMENT CENTERS.
