OSCEOLA COUNTY FARM BUREAU SUPPORTS YOUTH AT THE FAIR. STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THE 4-H AND FFA PROGRAMS, WHO SHOW ANIMALS AT THE FAIR RECEIVE HANDS-ON LEARNING ABOUT THE REALITIES OF FOOD PRODUCTION. THEY ALSO LEARN VALUABLE SKILLS SUCH AS HOW TO COMMUNICATE, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND MARKETING.
OSCEOLA COUNTY FARM BUREAU KEEPS MEMBERS INFORMED ABOUT LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THAT COULD IMPACT AGRICULTURE ON THE COUNTY AND STATE LEVEL. A LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON WAS HELD AT KISSIMMEE EXTENSION SERVICES BUILDING WHERE COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE SPOKE ON ALL THE NEW HAPPENINGS IN AGRICULTURAL LEGISLATION.
