THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE MEANS AND PROGRAMS TO RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUALS, ATHLETES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS IN AQUATIC SPORTS. THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES SWIMMING AND SWIMMING SAFETY AWARENESS THROUGH ITS MANY ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS MAINTAINING A MUSEUM CONTAINING HISTORICAL MATERIAL, MEMORABILIA, EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE, MEDALS, AND ARCHIVES OF INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL AQUATIC ORGANIZATIONS. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE OPERATION OF A WEEKLY WEB MAGAZINE, MONTHLY WEB MAGAZINE, MONTHLY PRINT MAGAZINE, LIBRARY, MUSEUM GIFT SHOP, AUDITORIUM, THE SPONSORING OF CERTAIN AQUATIC EVENTS, AND INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS AND EXHIBITIONS.
