INSTRUCTION AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO/FOR STUDENTS - INCLUDES TRADITIONAL STUDENTS AS WELL AS RETURNING ADULT STUDENTS OVER THE AGE OF 23. STUDENTS COME FROM 48 STATES AND 39 COUNTRIES. STUDENTS CAN CHOOSE FROM 41 MAJORS IN THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM OR DESIGN THEIR OWN INTERDISCIPLINARY CONCENTRATIONS. ALL PROGRAMS LEAD TO A BACHELOR OF ARTS, BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS OR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE. ATTENDING ECKERD COLLEGE DURING THE 2020/21 ACADEMIC YEAR WERE 1,819 FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS. STUDENT SERVICES - PROVIDE SERVICES TO STUDENTS APART FROM INSTRUCTION SUCH AS ADMISSIONS, FINANCIAL AID, STUDENT ACTIVITIES, ATHLETICS AND MORE. APPROXIMATELY 96 OF ECKERD COLLEGE BEGINNING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AS A RESULT OF THE EFFORTS OF THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE. THE COLLEGE'S STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO MANY SERVICES INCLUDING THE FITNESS CENTER, THE OUTDOOR POOL, MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SPORTS, STUDENT GOVERNMENT, STUDENT MEDIA (RADIO, TV AND NEWSPAPER) AND REGISTERED STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS.
