BARRY IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH A PERSONALIZED, VALUES-BASED EDUCATION CENTERED ON EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION AND SERVICE LEARNING WITH MORE THAN 100 DEGREE PROGRAMS, INCLUDING HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL WORK, EDUCATION, BUSINESS, LEADERSHIP, PODIATRY AND LAW. THE MONSIGNOR WILLIAM BARRY MEMORIAL LIBRARY (LOCATED IN MIAMI SHORES, FL) SUPPORTS THE UNIVERSITY'S EDUCATIONAL MISSION THROUGH A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF INFORMATION RESOURCES IN PRINT, ELECTRONIC, AND STREAMING FORMATS, AS WELL AS INTER LIBRARY LOAN TO MATERIAL NOT OWNED OR LICENSED. THE RESOURCES ARE COMPLEMENTED BY 47 DESKTOP COMPUTERS, THREE KIOSKS WITH A TOTAL OF 48 LAPTOPS, WALK-UP SCANNING STATION (KIC4), AS WELL AS THREE NEWLINE INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS (TWO ARE 75 AND ONE IS 86"). PHYSICAL ACCESS TO THE 4-STORY, 86,000+ SQ FT LIBRARY IS PROVIDED 93.5 HOURS A WEEK AND INCLUDES ACCESS TO 14 GROUP STUDY ROOMS, PRINTING, COPYING, AND SCANNING.
