DEDICATING TO ENRICHING THE MIAMI COMMUNITY THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC WELFARE, EDUCATION, CIVIC IMPROVEMENT, HISTORY PRESERVATION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE ARTS WHILE FOSTERING GOOD FELLOWSHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS.

THE WOMANS CLUB PROVIDES AID FOR LOCAL AND NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS CASA VALENTINA, CANCER SURVIVORS, VIRRICK PUBLIC LIBRARY, THE HACIENDA GIRLS RANCH, CANINE COMPANIONS AND HEIRFER INTERNATIONAL. IT SPONSORS THE LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM AT THE VIRRICK POOL THAT TAUGHT HUNDREDS OF WEST GROVE CHILDREN TO SWIM. IT HAS SUPPORTED PBS AND CURRENT SUPPORTS INITIATIVES FOR THE PREVENTION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING, PROVIDES ART SUPPLIES TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS, SUPPORTS THE ST. STEPHENS EPISCOPAL OUTREACH TO THE NEEDY PROGRAM AND RONALD MCDONALS HOUSE, A TEMPORARY HOME FOR FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN BEING TREATED AT NEARBY HOSPITAL.


YOUNG ARTIST GALLERY (YAG) IS A JOINT PROGRAM BETWEEN THE WOMANS CLUB AND THE MIAMI DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SYSTEM. THIS JURIED ART SHOW ALLOWS STUDENTS TO BE INVOLVED IN AN ART GALLERY SETTING AND WIN ACCOLADES, EARN FUNDS FOR TUITION AND SELL THEIR ART, IF THEY WISH, TO AN AUDIENCE OF ART PATRONS. THE WOMANS CLUB RAISES FUNDS EACH YEAR AND AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING ACCREDITED ART SCHOOLS OR UNIVERSITY.


ANNUAL SENIOR PARTY IS A COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVITY. SENIORS WERE GIVEN A LUNCHEON, HOLIDAY GIFTS AND ENJOYED LIVE ENTERTAINMENT.
