WE MAINTAIN A MEMBERSHIP OF 900+ PSYCHOLOGIST MEMBERS AND PROVIDE SERVICES AND BENEFITS TO THEM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
GPA SPONSORED A SERIES OF CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOPS FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS, BOTH ON- AND OFF-SITE, AND FOR MEMBER- AND NON-MEMBER PSYCHOLOGISTS. PSYCHOLOGISTS IN GEORGIA ARE REQUIRED TO RENEW THEIR LICENSURE EVERY TWO YEARS. THESE WORKSHOPS ALLOW THEM TO OBTAIN LOW COST, QUALITY WORKSHOPS TO MEET RE-LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, IN ADDITION TO, GIVING PSYCHOLOGISTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK AND LEARN FROM THEIR COLLEAGUES
THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORED AN ANNUAL MEETING WITH ATTENDANCE OF 368. THOSE ATTENDING HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN 46 CREDIT HOURS DURING THE ANNUAL MEETING AND 195 ATTENDED THE APAIT'S RISK MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP ALLOWING FOR A 15% DISCOUNT FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS INSURED THROUGH APAIT'S PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY PROGRAM.
