THE COLUMBUS MUSEUM BRINGS AMERICAN ART AND HISTORY TO LIFE FOR THE COMMUNITIES OF THE CHATTAHOOCHEE VALLEY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE MUSEUM EXHIBITS AMERICAN ART AND REGIONAL HISTORY, CONDUCTS WORKSHOPS, LECTURES, AND RECEPTIONS. THE MUSEUM PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ART EDUCATION FOR THE LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM, AND GENERALLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE EXPOSURE AND EDUCATION OF THE CITIZENS TO AMERICAN ART AND REGIONAL HISTORY. ADMISSION IS FREE AND THE POTENTIAL TWO STATE AUDIENCE FOR THE MUSEUM IS IN EXCESS OF 200,000 PEOPLE. DURING THE 2022-2023 FISCAL YEAR THE MUSEUM SERVED 12,030 PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS INCLUDING 38 CLASSES, 100 GUIDED TOURS, 3 PUBLIC FESTIVALS AND LECTURES, AND 4 SUMMER CAMPS. THE MUSEUM ALSO PARTNERED WITH 9 COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND 17 SCHOOLS TO OFFER OFFSITE PROGRAMMING AT THEIR LOCATIONS.
