FOUNDED IN 2001, KING'S RIDGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL ("KRCS") IS AN INDEPENDENT, MULTI-DENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN NORTH METRO ATLANTA. OUR COLLEGE-BOUND STUDENTS SHOULD BE INDIVIDUALLY KNOWN FOR THEIR UNIQUE GIFTS, TALENTS, AND LEARNING STYLES. STUDENTS WHO ARE KNOWN ARE MORE ENCOURAGED IN THEIR ACADEMICS AND BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW THEY CAN IMPACT THE WORLD AS THEY DEVELOP INTO SELF-DIRECTED LEARNERS, SELF-AWARE LEADERS, AND SELF-CONFIDENT SERVANTS.STUDENTS ATTEND SCHOOL ON A 92-ACRE CAMPUS WITH SEPARATE FACILITIES FOR LOWER, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOLS. GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION - KRCS IS A MEMBER OF GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION, PARTICIPATING IN VARIOUS SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES SUCH AS LITERARY AND ONE ACT PLAY COMPETITION WITH THE GOAL OF REACHING STATE-LEVEL COMPETITION WHILE HONORING GOD BY USING THE TALENTS HE PROVIDES. ATHLETICS - ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION INCLUDES VARSITY LEVEL PROGRAMS BUILT FROM FOUNDATIONAL LEVEL REC STYLE TEAMS, STARTING IN KINDERGARTEN. KRCS STRIVES TO TRAIN ATHLETES TO COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, SO THE OPPONENT KNOWS THEY HAVE GIVEN THEIR OPPONENT A GREAT GAME AT THE END OF THE CONTEST. STUDENT-ATHLETES MAY PARTICIPATE IN ANY NUMBER OF SPORTS (FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, CROSS COUNTRY, SOFTBALL, SWIMMING, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, TENNIS, GOLF, TRACK & FIELD, EQUESTRIAN, LACROSSE AND SOCCER) OVER A 3-SEASON SCHEDULE. WHEN NOT ACTIVELY COMPETING, THEY COMMIT TO OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING AND TRAINING THROUGH A CUSTOM-DESIGNED STRENGTH, CONDITIONING, AND AGILITY PROGRAM TO BE FULLY PREPARED FOR FUTURE SUCCESS. THIS DEDICATION TO PREPARATION HAS RESULTED IN AN EVER INCREASING NUMBER OF KING'S RIDGE STUDENT ATHLETES BEING PURSUED BY COLLEGE LEVEL PROGRAMS.
