THE ANDREW J. YOUNG FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO WORK ON ITS MISSION TO IMPROVE LIFE, HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF HUMANITY THROUGH PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES CREATED TO ASSIST CHALLENGED COMMUNITIES. HIGH IMPACT SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS ARE DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE IN ONE GENERATION. HOWEVER, THEY NEED TO BE STARTED NOW FOR THE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO BENEFIT FROM THEM. THESE PROJECTS HAVE COME FROM REAL GLOBAL SHORTAGE OF PROTEIN, FLOODING OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND MARITIME ISSUES OUR COUNTRY FACES TODAY. WE ARE UNDERTAKING THESE PROJECTS TO HELP FEED AND EMPOWER 8.5 BILLION PEOPLE EXPECTED BY 2030. ANDREW J. YOUNG FOUNDATION IS A COMMUNITY BASED 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT PUBLIC CHARITY THAT HAS BEEN BUILT UPON CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER ANDREW YOUNG'S PHILOSOPHY OF NON-VIOLENT CHANGE AND A BELIEF THAT UNTO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS REQUIRED.
