THE ATLANTA SUZUKI INSTITUTE IS A 5-DAY MUSICAL INSTRUCTIONAL EVENT FOR PRE-COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. STUDENTS ARE INVOLVED IN ONE-ON-ONE AND GROUP INSTRUCTION EACH DAY WITH MASTER TEACHERS IN THE SUZUKI METHOD. INSTRUCTION IN VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, AND GUITAR IS AVAILABLE AT THE INSTITUTE. THE INSTITUTE ALSO TEACHES TEACHERS HOW TO TEACH USING THE SUZUKI METHOD. AS PART OF THE TRAINING COURSES, TEACHERS WATCH THE MASTER TEACHERS WORK WITH THE YOUNG STUDENTS AND DISCUSS THE CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS OF TEACHING USING THIS METHOD. DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, THE PROGRAM WAS CANCELLED IN 2020. OF THE TOTAL EXPENSES OF $20,605.29, $14,670.00 WERE REFUNDS DUE TO CANCELLATION.
