THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROMOTE THE HOSPITAL'S MISSION THROUGH COMMUNITY EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND FUNDRAISING THAT SUPPORTS NEWBERRY COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND ITS SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY.

SINCE 1997, THE NEWBERRY COUNTY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION HAS SUPPORTED NEWBERRY HOSPITAL'S MISSION OF PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CARE WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH THROUGH COMMUNITY EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND FUNDRAISING. THE COMBINED ENERGIES OF OUR GENEROUS DONORS, VOLUNTEERS, BOARD, STAFF AND PHYSICIANS, ALLOW US TO PROVIDE OUR HOSPITAL WITH THE BEST TECHNOLOGY AND THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF PATIENT-CENTERED CARE. IN THE PAST YEAR, GIFTS TO THE FOUNDATION HAVE FUNDED ITEMS SUCH AS: STOOLS & CHAIRS FOR PHARMACY DEPT; ADULT PATIENT SIMULATOR FOR EDUCATION DEPT; LANDING MATS FOR REHAB SERVICES; ENDOSCOPY CALIBRATION/VALIDATION SYSTEM FOR AMBULATORY CARE; DOME DRYING RACK FOR DIETARY; ROCK BLADES FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY.
