ATLANTA HEALTHY START ENSURES THAT LOW INCOME, PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEIR BABIES GET THE "HEALTHY START" THEY DESERVE. CASE MANAGERS PROVIDE HOME VISITATION TO PREGNANT WOMEN, LINKING THEM TO PRENATAL CARE AND OTHER IMPORTANT SERVICES, AND PROVIDE HEALTH EDUCATION AND PARENTING SKILLS UNTIL THE BABY TURNS 18 MONTHS OLD. IN 2021, ATLANTA HEALTHY START SERVED A TOTAL OF 461 PARTICIPANTS, INCLUDING 240 PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM WOMEN AND 153 CHILDREN AGES 0-18 MONTHS, AND 68 FATHERS.
