ASSISTANCE TO PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE CLASSROOM THROUGH CLASSROOM GRANTS USED TO ENHANCE THE STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL PROCESS. THESE GRANTS SERVE AS A CATALYST TO ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT AND STIMULATE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN THEIR EFFORTS TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION.
DOLLY PARTON'S IMAGINATION LIBRARY IS AVAILABLE TO ALL CHILDREN IN TERREBONNE PARISH FROM BIRTH TO THEIR 5TH. BIRTHDAY. EACH MONTH, A NEW CAREFULLY SELECTED BOOK IS MAILED TO EACH CHILD ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE EARLY CHILDHOOD LITERACY FOR CHILDREN BY FOSTERING A LOVE FOR READING AMONG PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.
