THE DESOTO COUNTY FOUNDATION FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION'S MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO IDENTIFY, SUPPORT AND PROMOTE EDUCATION AT ALL LEVELS IN DESOTO COUNTY. THEY RECEIVE AND DISTRIBUTE GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ACROSS DESOTO COUNTY. THEY PROMOTE PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY AND CLASSROOMS THROUGH GRANT PROGRAMS. THE SALUTE TO EDUCATION PROGRAM ANNUALLY RECOGNIZES INDIVIDUALS IN EDUCATION WHO EXCEL IN EDUCATION.
