TO PROVIDE A PRIVATE SCHOOL SETTING FOR A PROGRESSIVE ARTS-INTEGRATED PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH MIDDLE-SCHOOL EDUCATION USING ESTABLISHED WALDORF PRINCIPLES AND CURRICULUM. EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS EMPHASIZE READING READINESS AND MATH SKILLS THROUGH PRACTICAL LIFE ACTIVITIES, STRONG DAILY RHYTHMS AND FREEDOM IN PLAY. A SECOND EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER WAS OPENED IN THE INMAN PARK AREA OF ATLANTA IN 2014. CHILDREN AGES 2-4 ARE SERVED AT THIS LOCATION. FIVE KINDERGARTENS AND GRADES 1 - 8 COMPRISE ENROLLMENT OF 221 STUDENTS. LOWER GRADES, 1-5 PROVIDE BOTH AN ARTISTICALLY RICH AND ACADEMICALLY CHALLENGING PROGRESSION THROUGH BASIC SKILLS ACQUISITION IN AND ASCENDING SPIRAL OF KNOWLEDGE. MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, 6-8 ENCOUNTER ACADEMIC RIGOR IN THE SCIENCES AND MATH USING REFINED OBSERVATION, CRITICAL THINKING, AND AGE APPROPRIATE WRITING.
