LAKEVIEW ACADEMY IS AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE PREPARATORY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION COVERING GRADES K3 THROUGH TWELVE. LAKEVIEW IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THE HIGHEST COLLEGE PREPARATORY EDUCATION POSSIBLE TO THE STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL. LAKEVIEW MAINTAINS A STUDENT BODY OF APPROXIMATELY 600 STUDENTS. LAKEVIEW IS LOCATED IN GAINESVILLE, GA.
ATHLETICS - LAKEVIEW ACADEMY COMPETES IN THE GEORGIA INDEPENDENT ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (GIAA) AND OFFERS BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, CHEERLEADING, CROSS COUNTRY, FOOTBALL, GOLF, SOCCER, SWIMMING, TENNIS, AND VOLLEYBALL AS TEAM SPORTS FOR GRADES 7-12. OVER 75% OF LAKEVIEW'S MIDDLE AND UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST ONE SCHOOL-SPONSORED SPORT, AS WELL AS A FINE ARTS ACTIVITY, AND SPORTING CLAYS.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES - LAKEVIEW ACADEMY IS COMMITEED TO PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FINE ARTS, TECHNOLOGY, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. ALL STUDENTS HAVE A VARIETY OF AFTER-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE, INCLUDING THE SCHOOL'S AWARD-WINNING DRAMA AND ARTS PROGRAMS. LAKEVIEW STUDENTS HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO BECOME INVOLVED IN TECHNOLOGY-RELATED ACTIVITIES AND STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-12 CAN ALSO JOIN THE SCHOOL'S AWARD-WINNING ROBOTICS TEAM, WHICH HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE TOP TEAMS IN GEORGIA. A CENTRAL TENET OF LAKEVIEW ACADEMY IS THE SCHOOL'S COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY SERVICE.
