MEMBER RECRUITMENT: CURRENT FRATERNITY MEMBERS SEEK OUT LIKE-MINDED STUDENTS INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING INTOPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS LEADERS. DURING RECRUITMENT, CURRENT MEMBERS CREATE PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, REGISTEREVENT SPACE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA CAMPUS AND REPRESENT THE FRATERNITY AT FRESHMAN ORIENTATION.
OVER THE COURSE OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR, ALPHA KAPPA PSI FRATERNITY, INC. PROVIDES MOCK INTERVIEWS, RESUME CRITIQUES AND PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING EVENTS TO ITS MEMBERS. A SPECIFIC EXAMPLE OF THISIS WHEN THE FRATERNITY MEMBERS INVITE BUSINESS LEADERS AND EXECUTIVES TO SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE ANDPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. TYPICALLY, 3-6 COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES COME TO ATHENS AND PRESENT TO THEMEMBERS IN THE FORM OF A PANEL DISCUSSION. FRATERNITY MEMBERS CAN ASK QUESTIONS AND STRIVE TO GAIN INTELLECTUAL INSIGHT ABOUT POSSIBLE CAREER PATHS AFTER COLLEGE.
PRINCIPLED BUSINESS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE: REGIONAL GATHERING OF CHAPTERS REPRESENTING THE ATLANTIC GULF COAST DIVISION. EIGHT MEMBERS ATTEND TO NETWORK WITH OTHER CHAPTERS, PARTICIPATE IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS AND SET GOALS FOR THE CHAPTER.
